TREASURE COAST, FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION

In August 2011, construction began on the $150 million I-95 construction projects in the Treasure Coast. Three adjoining projects span a total of 19.5 miles, from northern Saint Lucie County to Indian River County. Work includes widening I-95 in each direction, milling and resurfacing the existing lanes, bridge replacement, ramp reconstruction, sound wall installation, and improvements to landscaping, signalization and lighting. To minimize the impact of construction on the surrounding communities, Corradino has a full time Public Information Officer (PIO) working on-site to address any inquiries or concerns related to construction. The PIO will be heavily involved in community outreach throughout the duration of these projects, providing updates on the various stages of construction through media blast lists and pre-existing community meetings, and by hosting informative meetings the public at large. In addition, Corradino is overseeing and maintaining the Florida Department of Transportation’s (FDOT) District 4 Treasure Coast Operations Center. This website contains project information, progress photos, and lane closures for all FDOT projects in Martin, Saint Lucie, and Indian River Counties.
