MUNICIPAL MOBILITY PLAN, MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA

The Miami Beach Municipal Mobility Plan provided a program to enhance city development, improve the city's transportation network, and preserve community sustainability. The plan recommended 45 multimodal improvements. Shortly after the plan's completion, Miami Beach passed a $57 million General Obligation bond and began construction on the public improvement projects, all of which have been implemented. The study received an award for excellence from the American Planning Association.
