Corradino has worked with two tribes in Michigan to develop Tribal transit needs studies.
The first of these efforts was for the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan.
Corradino conducted tribal outreach through a survey and worked with the Tribe and a local public transit agency
to develop a plan that fit the needs of the tribe and would also provide some additional transportation for the general public.
The second Tribal transit study was for the Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians (LTBB) in Harbor Springs, Michigan.
The LTBB Tribe has two housing developments in two different counties and tribal services scattered between two different cities.
There are two local transit agencies operating in the reservation area and one regional carrier.
Still LTBB Tribal Citizens lack transportation.
Corradino developed a plan that would be phased in over a period of a few years and would assist Tribal Citizens
in using the existing transportation resources and expand transportation options in the coming years.
For both studies, Corradino defined the costs of the planned transportation improvements and documented funding sources.
Since its inception in 1970, The Corradino Group (Corradino) has become a national leader in the fields of engineering, planning, and program management.
