This project incorporated the ideas of citizens, and those who live and work in the community. Several workshops were conducted, including a visioning session.
From the input received, the study team created concepts and provided sample materials to help articulate ideas and refine the proposed improvements.
The public engagement process produced safety, operations, and aesthetic improvements for the entire under bridge area (at the ground level only) of M-102 at the M-10 Freeway,
including all service drives, the Greenfield Raod / M-102 intersection, and the Motor Lane M-102 intersection.
Improvements to pedestrian accessibility within the public right-of-way were considered the primary focus of the study.
