Key Biscayne School District Receives Grant with Corradino’s Assistance

Corradino is proud to have assisted the Village of Key Biscayne on the island community’s Safe Routes to School (SRTS) program. Safe Routes to School is a national program designed to create safe, convenient, and fun opportunities for children to bicycle and walk to and from school. Meeting with key community leaders and the local PTA, recommendations were developed for safety improvements and pedestrian and bicycling facilities infrastructure. Based on this SRTS report, Corradino helped prepare the grant application, resulting in a $837,000 federal grant awarded to the Village, furthering the community’s focus on keeping school children safe. This grant is 100 times the investment in preparing the study and subsequent grant, demonstrating “While others talk, Corradino acts. It creates value.”
