FDOT Treasure Coast Construction-Public Information Officer

Project Description
In August 2011, construction began on the I-95 construction projects in the Treasure Coast of Florida at a cost of $150 million. The three adjoining projects span a total of 19.5 miles, from northern Saint Lucie County to Indian River County. Work include widening I-95 in each direction, milling and resurfacing the existing lanes, bridge replacement, ramp reconstruction, sound wall installation and improvements to landscaping, signalization and lighting. To minimize the impact of construction on the surrounding communities, Corradino has a full-time Public Information Officer (PIO) working on-site to address any inquiries or concerns related to construction.
The PIO was heavily involved in community for these projects, providing updates on the various stages of construction. Corradino also oversaw and maintained the Florida Department of Transportation’s (FDOT) District 4 Treasure Coast Operations Center website. This website contains project information, progress photos, and lane closures for all FDOT projects in Martin, Saint Lucie, and Indian River Counties.
