I-95/Spanish River Boulevard Interchange
Project Description
The Corradino Group is providing Public Information Services for the Spanish River Boulevard Interchange project that will provide direct access to Florida Atlantic University and alleviate congestion on over-capacity Glades Road in Palm Beach County. In addition to constructing the new interchange at Spanish River Boulevard and I-95, this project also entails widening Spanish River Boulevard east of the El Rio Canal, constructing 13 bridges, widening of I-95 southbound and northbound to facilitate the addition of auxiliary lanes from Glades Road to Congress Avenue, and excavating 15+ dry and wet ponds to facilitate drainage at the new interchange.
Our PIO Team works with individual residents, neighborhood associations, surrounding businesses, the City of Boca Raton, Boca Raton Police and Fire Rescue, Lynn University, Palm Beach State College, and Florida Atlantic University to ensure all stakeholder concerns are addressed. Corradino PIOs attend community meetings to provide status updates and information regarding upcoming milestones and potential traffic impacts. Given the high visibility and unique scope of work of this project, Corradino PIOs arrange site visits and group tours for elected officials, including the Palm Beach MPO, Palm Beach County Commissioner Steve Abrams, Boca Raton Mayor Susan Haynie and the entire Boca Raton City Commission, Congresswoman Lois Frankel, as well as FAU civil engineering students and professors.
