Senior Transportation Planner, Louisville

Are you ready to be a key leader to a top notch transportation planning team? Corradino’s success is the result of a talented team of professionals doing their job and doing it well.  The person selected for this position will develop business and manage company-wide transportation engineering and planning projects, as well as direct planning staff.

The requirements for this position are:

  1. Ability to lead, mentor, and monitor technical performance of staff.
  2. A MS in transportation engineering/planning (PE or AICP preferred).
  3. A minimum of 10 years engineering/planning experience with a well-established network in the transportation community.
  4. Capability to develop and apply travel demand forecasting models.
  5. Working experience with Cube/Voyager, TRANSCAD, and/or TP+.
  6. Knowledge of computer programming language (C++, VB, or FORTRAN)
  7. Experience collaborating with clients, major public transit agencies and metropolitan planning organizations.
  8. Exceptional marketing, communication, and presentation skills
  9. This position will require travel for marketing and clients/projects.

Transportation Planning/Engineering Co-op or Internship, Louisville
Are you a civil engineering student who would like to learn more about real world transportation planning/engineering projects? The Corradino Group would like to offer you an opportunity to do just that with a co-op or internship in our downtown Louisville, KY office. The person in this position will work with word processing software, spreadsheets, computer programming, GIS, and transportation related software. Transportation modelers are in demand; this co-op is a great opportunity for first-hand exposure in this field. Student will work with Ken Kaltenbach, PE, and the Louisville modeling team. Ken is the Vice President in charge of Corradino’s Transportation Planning Division. He is widely recognized as one of the nation’s most accomplished travel modelers. Ken has developed models for all modes of travel, including those that address freight, pedestrian, and transit activities. We are looking for a talented word processor to join Corradino’s Louisville production team. This position will use Microsoft Office. As a team, Corradino’s editors, graphic designers, and word processors, are responsible for making sure a quality product is delivered to our clients in a timely manner.  The salary range for this position is $32,000 to $35,000 (to be negotiated based on experience level).   2. Provides product quality control: quality of layout and turnaround time
  3. Production: printing, copying, collating, folding, and binding of documents
