Two high-crash intersections near Oaktown were a top safety priority for INDOT’s Vincennes District. Corradino delivered the engineering assessment, public engagement, and design for Reduced Conflict Intersections (RCIs)—innovative “J-turns” that significantly reduce severe crashes. Our team met one-on-one with local farmers to understand slow-moving seasonal traffic, designing with community insight in mind. Since opening, no fatalities have occurred at the improved intersections.
