CEI Project Administrator – Florida

Position Summary

The Corradino Group is seeking an experienced CEI Project Administrator to oversee the administration of FDOT transportation construction projects. This position is responsible for managing project administration activities, coordinating office and field personnel, preparing project estimates, and ensuring construction projects are completed in accordance with FDOT standards, specifications, and contract requirements.

The ideal candidate is a motivated leader with strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and extensive experience in Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) for roadway and bridge construction projects.

 

Essential Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate all phases of CEI construction administration.
  • Direct and assign work to administrative and field staff.
  • Provide leadership and guidance throughout the duration of transportation construction projects.
  • Prepare and manage progress estimates and final estimates.
  • Exercise independent judgment and initiative in resolving project-related issues.
  • Ensure compliance with FDOT standards, specifications, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and construction records.
  • Communicate effectively with FDOT representatives, contractors, consultants, and project team members.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience

Applicants must meet one of the following qualifications:

  • Two (2) years of engineering experience on relevant transportation projects; or
  • Eight (8) years of CEI, roadway, or bridge construction experience, including at least two (2) years on transportation construction projects.

 

Required Certifications

Candidates should possess, or be able to obtain within six (6) months of hire under the supervision of a Senior Project Engineer and an approved training plan:

  • FDOT Advanced Maintenance of Traffic (MOT)
  • CTQP Final Estimates Level II
  • CTQP Quality Control Manager

  • Ability to effectively supervise administrative and field personnel.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and solve problems independently.
  • Proficiency in managing construction documentation, progress estimates, and final estimates.
