District 4’s First Diverging Diamond Interchange (SR-808/Glades Road and I-95)
When Florida introduced its first Diverging Diamond Interchange (DDI) in FDOT District 4, Corradino was there to ensure the public understood this unfamiliar traffic pattern during an intensive 18-month rollout and public education campaign. Our team developed easy-to-understand educational materials, coordinated with local media, visited area schools, and hosted community meetings and virtual drive throughs to demonstrate how the interchange worked and what travelers could expect. As a result, the project opened successfully with minimal confusion or delay—and set the standard for DDI communications across the state.
