Corradino led the Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study for the proposed westward extension of SR 924 (Gratigny Parkway) on behalf of the Greater Miami Expressway Agency (GMX), from SR 826 (Palmetto Expressway) to the Homestead Extension of Florida’s Turnpike (HEFT). This 12.5-mile east-west corridor serves as a major commuter and freight route in northern Miami-Dade County. The study focused on improving regional access and reducing traffic congestion by connecting SR 924 more directly to major expressways including I-75 and HEFT. Services included travel demand forecasting, traffic operations analysis, and comprehensive public involvement. The proposed extension enhances east-west mobility and supports the continued integration of South Florida’s expressway network—advancing transportation efficiency in one of the state’s most densely traveled corridors.
