Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise is leading a Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study to evaluate corridor improvements along the Sawgrass Expressway (SR 869), from west of US 441 (SR 7) to Powerline Road (SR 845) in Broward County. As a key partner, Corradino is supporting efforts to assess options for widening, adding collector-distributor (CD) roadways, and upgrading interchanges to enhance safety, reduce congestion, and accommodate future growth. The study also considers improved direct connections to Florida’s Turnpike and integration with adjacent projects like SW 10th Street. With a focus on traffic reliability, multimodal access, and long-term capacity, the study advances regional mobility solutions that reflect both current needs and projected demands.
